In loving memory of Emanuel Theodore Lorras, or as many knew him as, Mike Lorras. A man of great integrity, kindness, and generosity.
He was a successful entrepreneur, a talented athlete, a great teacher, a Navy veteran, but most of all an outstanding husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.
He is defined by one word, Love. He loved everyone he met, and made them feel it. He brought everyone together, and would make everyone around him feel special through his humor and openness. He was genuine, and honest. A kind individual who held back no compassion or empathy, very emotionally aware and ensuring all felt as happy as he always was.
He had a great impact on everyone’s life and yet stayed so humble, shying away from acknowledgement or making his philanthropic efforts known. Here’s a man who took many less fortunate under his wing, and helped them to establish themselves on his own time and generosity.
We’ll miss him dearly, but his legacy of what he stood for will live forever.

Our father actively participated in many philanthropic activities including making significant donations across numerous charities. We learned early on the values of his tremendous generosity, from donating equipment to our after school programs to his family's time at church events and other forms of charity.
As much as he loved flowers, and an exotic orchid with his skillful green thumb, he loved helping others in need more.
